Cancellation & Refund Policy
Welcome to April Hotel, Aqaba. We strive to provide a seamless booking experience. Please review our policy regarding cancellations, refunds, and booking terms, which are governed by the Consumer Protection Laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
1. Standard Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. Our standard policy is based on the Notice Period provided:

Flexible Bookings: Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the local check-in time (3:00 PM) will receive a 100% refund.

Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of the first night (including taxes).

No-Shows: If you do not arrive for your reservation without prior notice, the total cost of the first night will be charged, and the remainder of the booking will be released.
2. Non-Refundable Rates
Any bookings made under "Non-Refundable," "Early Bird," or "Last Minute" promotions are final. In accordance with Jordanian Contract Law, these reservations are not eligible for refunds or date modifications once the booking is confirmed.
3. Refunds & Processing

Method: Refunds will be processed using the original method of payment.

Timeline: Please allow 7 to 14 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your bank’s processing times within Jordan or internationally.

Transaction Fees: Please note that bank processing fees or currency conversion differences incurred during the refund are the responsibility of the guest.
4. Security Deposit (Local Requirement)
Per standard hospitality practice in Aqaba, a refundable security deposit of JD 50 or 15% of the total booking value may be requested upon check-in. This is held to cover incidental damages and is fully refunded at check-out following a room inspection.
5. Force Majeure & Exceptional Circumstances
Under Jordanian Civil Code, in cases of documented "Force Majeure" (such as government-imposed travel restrictions or emergency health issues), April Hotel reserves the right to offer a Credit Voucher for future stays in lieu of a cash refund.
6. Modifications
If you wish to modify your dates, please contact our reservations team at least 72 hours in advance. Modifications are subject to availability and any applicable rate differences.
7.Platform Bookings (OTA Policy)
For reservations made through third party platforms (such as Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, or similar), the cancellation, modification, and refund terms of the respective platform shall prevail. April Hotel shall not be held responsible for refunds processed or declined by external booking channels.
